Material Inventory Coordinator

The Material Inventory Coordinator is responsible for proactively maintaining production reporting and material issue/return discrepancies. This position has ownership for the production reporting process and is responsible for complete and accurate communication to all levels of the operations team.
Essential Functions & Key Responsibilities
Open, close and maintain all manufacturing and co-pack work orders.
Verifies accuracy of work order packets for usage of bulk, usage of components or any other element of the work order prior to issuance to the line for production run.
Audits daily paperwork for accuracy, identifies discrepancies, initiates investigations and corrections to Prism system
Reporting of production variances.
Prepare direct shipments from manufacturing facility for co-packed customers
Monthly reconciliation of warehouse transactions for shipments to co-pack customers.
Monthly reconciliation of inventory at the manufacturing facility and co-pack warehouses.
Communicates paperwork errors to production supervisors in support of continuous improvement objectives.
Communicates effectively and appropriately at the necessary frequency with peers and management
Support all activities related to ISO 9001, and our Quality Management System.
Ensure compliance with all FDA, OSHA and local regulatory agencies requirements.
Ensure product(s) meet all quality standards and execute all projects as expected in a timely manner.
Follow all Product Safety guidelines, but not limited to: GMP's, Factory Audits, Quality, Sanitation, Safety, ISO 9001
Cross trained in the following tasks to support production when needed:
Transfer finish goods to Distribution Center utilizing transfer form procedures.
Reporting of finished goods to the work order
Creation of Carton identification labeling for finished goods
Receiving of components shipped directly to manufacturing plant and co-packers
Additional duties, reports and various projects as needed.
Skills/Knowledge/Abilities
High School Diploma or GED required
Minimum 2 years' experience in a Consumer Packaged Goods Distribution environment highly preferred.
Excellent communication skills (verbal and written).
Self-starter with ability to work independently, meet deadlines, multi-task with a positive, can-do attitude.
An outgoing, solution-oriented, people-centered style.
Ability to motivate employees to achieve high productivity, to engage employee development, to problem solve, and make timely decisions.
Computer Skills (Word, Excel, Outlook).
Must have good manual dexterity, mechanical skills, and be physically able to lift up to 50 lbs.
Ability to work across all shifts and flexible for OT as needed.
Ability to maintain an effective working relationship with all contacts both inside and outside the company.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
