Come be a part of a growing organization and a winning team! Summary As Assistant Miantenance Tech and Chemical Specialist, you will interact directly with customers in the Food Service and Laundry industries and train in equipment repair.
Responsibilities include assisting in installations and repair of ware wash equipment, explaining chemical product solutions, train on the proper use and procedures of products/equipment and provide prompt, personal and reliable services to meet customer needs.
You will be responsible for servicing, maintaining and installing laundry and ware wash dispensing systems.
You will travel to clients in the Boise area and surrounding counties to assist clients with dilution rates of chemicals, repair of kitchen ware wash machines, laundry dilution and repair of dispensers.
Experience with repair of laundry service or kitchen equipment would be a plus! Essential Functions Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
Install, maintain and repair dispensing equipment as well as demonstrate safe equipment use, ensuring that the equipment is fully operational.
Independently understand your customer's cleaning needs in order to proactively identify solutions that best meet customer expectations.
Respond to customer emergency service requests on weeknights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
Perform skilled mechanical/electrical work to troubleshoot, diagnose, maintain, repair, modify, and install machinery, equipment, physical structures, pipe, and electrical systems Follow specifications, blueprints, manuals, and schematic drawings.
These duties shall be performed using hand tools, power tools, industrial equipment, measuring and testing instruments Working knowledge and understanding of HAZMAT, MSDS, EPA, and OSHA requirements.
Know and explain the hazards associated with specific types of equipment and tools.
Use appropriate tools for the job and comply with all company safety polices.
Wear all appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) when required or necessary, know proper reporting of an accident or emergency.
Operate all equipment and/or machinery correctly and safely at all times Assist outside vendors and/or contractors by providing information or lendingassistance for work conducted at specified locations Competencies Communication Proficiency Organizational Skills Customer/Client Focus Project Management Technical Capacity Problem Solving/Analysis Collaboration Skills Travel Position will be based in the Los Angels area but will travel to surrounding counties to assist clients as needed.

Work Environment While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to fumes or airborne particles, moving mechanical parts and vibration.
Exposure to a combination of normal office type environments and shop environments.

Required Education and Experience High School diploma or equivalent required, college degree preferred 1-2 years of mechanical experience Abilities:
Mechanical and technical ability to troubleshot equipment malfunctions.
Ability to lift and / or carry up to 75 pounds.
Strong communication skills both verbal and written, intermediate math skills required.
Ability to read and speak Spanish preferred.
