We are on the hunt for an energetic and skilled Permanent CMM Inspector to join our dynamic team in the Manufacturing industry.
This position offers a unique opportunity to contribute to our commitment to precision and quality, while also enhancing your technical skills and expertise.
As a Permanent CMM Inspector, you will be responsible for executing detailed inspections using CMM (Coordinate Measuring Machine) and Faro Arm technology.
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role and a deep understanding of the manufacturing industry.
Responsibilities:
1.
Execute detailed inspections using CMM and Faro Arm, ensuring all parts are in compliance with the required specifications.
2.
Prepare, maintain, and review inspection and test plans for specific parts.
3.
Generate and interpret CMM reports, providing feedback and recommendations for improvement.
4.
Collaborate with the production team to ensure the accuracy of all parts and components.
5.
Maintain the CMM and Faro equipment, ensuring they are in optimum working condition.
6.
Develop and implement inspection criteria and procedures.
7.
Provide training and guidance to junior inspectors on CMM and Faro inspection techniques.
8.
Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives to increase product quality and efficiency.
9.
Ensure adherence to all safety and environmental regulations.
Qualifications:
1.
Minimum of 7 years of experience as a CMM Inspector, Commercial Machine Shop Inspector, Inspector, or a similar role.
2.
Proficient in the use of CMM and Faro Arm.
3.
Strong knowledge of geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T).
4.
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
5.
Ability to interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
6.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make sound decisions.
7.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
8.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
9.
Strong understanding of quality control standards and methodologies in the manufacturing industry.
10.
Certification or training in CMM or Faro Arm operation is an advantage.
